<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Formation\nof a Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1<\/strong> The quotation given on or attached\nto these terms and conditions will only remain valid for a period of 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.2<\/strong> On acceptance of the quotation by\nplacing an order within the specified period in paragraph 1.1 above, you will\nbe bound by these terms and conditions. Each quotation accepted shall\nconstitute an individual legally binding contract between you and us. Such\ncontract is hereinafter referred to in these terms and conditions as “an\norder”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.3<\/strong> No addition, alteration,\nsubstitution or waiver of these terms and conditions will be valid unless\nexpressly accepted in writing by us or a person authorised to sign on our\nbehalf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.4<\/strong> Nothing in these terms and\nconditions shall prejudice any condition or warranty expressed or implied, or\nany legal remedy to which we may be entitled in relation to the goods \/ and or\nthe work the subject\nof this quotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.\nSpecification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All goods\nsupplied by us shall be in accordance with the quotation given and any further\nspecifications or descriptions agreed or expressly listed or set out on the\nface of the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Acceptance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1<\/strong> You will be deemed to have accepted\nall goods upon their delivery by us to the address specified in the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2<\/strong> We must be informed in writing\nwithin 14 days of acceptance of the order of any changes, alterations,\nreductions or cancellations. We reserve the right to retain any deposits or\ncharge in full for any goods supplied or fabricated where cancellation is not\nmade within the period specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Delivery\nand Risk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.1<\/strong> Unless otherwise stated, the price quoted includes delivery to the address specified in the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.2<\/strong> Whereas we will try to ensure\ncompliance with any delivery times and dates given, such times and dates are an\nestimate only. We will not be responsible for any loss whatsoever arising from\nor consequential upon delay in delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.3<\/strong> Risk in the goods shall pass to you upon delivery. However, if quoted ex works then the risk shall pass to you on despatch from our premises\/warehouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Title and\nPayment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.1<\/strong> We warrant that we have good title\nto the goods and will transfer such title as we have in the goods to you\npursuant to paragraph 5.3 below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.2<\/strong> Unless otherwise stated in the\norder, payment of the price of the goods comprised in each order shall become due\n30 days after delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.3<\/strong> We will charge daily interest on\nlate payment of the amounts due, at a rate of 4% per annum above the then base\nlending rate at Bank of England from the date the payment was due until actual\ndate of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.4<\/strong> Title to the goods comprised in the\norder shall not pass to you until you have paid the full price, although we\nreserve the right to sue for the price once payment becomes due notwithstanding\nthat title may not have passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Price<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.1<\/strong> If the rate of value added tax (VAT)\nincreases between the date of your order and the date of delivery we will add\nthe necessary additional amount of value added tax to the price of the goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.2<\/strong> If the price of the goods increases\nfor any other reason between the date of your order and the date of delivery we\nwill notify you of this and give you the choice of accepting the price increase\nor cancelling the order in which case any deposit paid by you will be refunded\nin full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Damage in\nTransit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will\nreplace free of charge any goods proved to our satisfaction to have been\ndamaged in transit provided that such damage is notified to us or the carriers\nin writing within 7 days of\ndelivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Force\nMajeure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.1<\/strong> We shall not be liable for delay or\nfailure to perform any of our obligations under this order if the delay or\nfailure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.2<\/strong> For the purposes of this condition,\n“force majeure” shall include, but not be limited to acts of God, war,\nterrorism, civil disorder, industrial dispute, fire or explosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.3<\/strong> Upon the happening of a “force\nmajeure” event we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for\nthe performance of our obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Guarantees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not\nprovide additional guarantees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.\nExclusions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.1<\/strong> We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury however caused or arising from any defect in,\nfailure in or unsuitability for any purpose of the goods in excess of 3% of the\nprice paid up to a maximum of \u00a310,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.2<\/strong> We shall not under any circumstances\nbe liable for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever caused whether by\nnegligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.3<\/strong> We shall not be liable or\ninvestigate any claim for loss unless you have given us written notice within 21 days of its occurrence and given\nus every facility to investigate such occurrence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.4<\/strong> Nothing in these Conditions of Sale will exclude\nor limit the Company\u2019s liability for death or personal injury caused by its\nnegligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11.\nComplaints<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We aim to\nprovide a high level of service. If you do have an enquiry or complaint\nregarding the goods provided by us please address them to L&H Components Ltd, 3 Huntsland,\nWootton Bassett, Wiltshire   SN4 8QB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12.\nJurisdiction<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If any part\nof these terms and conditions are found to be unlawful it shall not affect the\nvalidity or enforceability of the remaining clauses. These terms and conditions\nshall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject\nto the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
